The Context

Somewhere in the ether between concept and production.

About

I've been a creative and a thinker my whole life. Years of working on cars and motorcycles informed my creative process with a keen interest in the underlying function of any form. This interest in automotive design led me to the formative step of my design career where I studied at and achieved a Transportation Design degree from ArtCenter College of Design.

My design story has been one of honing skills that are invaluable across Industrial, Transportation & Graphic Design disciplines. My skills in ideation, proportion, and execution have been tested and refined over years of design successes, slumps, set-backs and triumphs, and I've become a confident force for design  in any capacity.

Constraints tend to do most of the work.

My Approach

The best designers temper an unbridled, blue-sky creativity with a realistic understanding of the world a design exists in and the user it exists for.

It takes skill to create something beautiful, but it takes even more skill to understand what ways it can be best optimized for the user, and what constraints are posed by manufacturing and production feasibility.
